This policy explains what ReelMates collects, why, and your choices. We aim to collect as little as we need to run a dating service.
To create your profile, show you compatible people, let you match and message, keep the service safe, and contact you about your account. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads.
Profile data is stored in our database (hosted on Railway). Photos are stored on Cloudflare R2 and served through short-lived private links. Login emails are sent through Resend. These providers process data on our behalf so the service can function.
Other members can see the profile you build: your name, age, city (if you add one), bio, photos, favorite films, and Letterboxd link. They never see your email address.
You can edit or remove your photos, films, and profile details at any time, hide your profile from discovery, or delete your account entirely. To delete your account or request your data, email hello@reelmates.withmagic.ai and we will handle it.
We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
ReelMates is only for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we update this policy we will change the date above. Significant changes will be communicated within the service.
